Quaint German town

December 1st, 2008

We started off our travels this year (yea, I know I am way behind in posting) in Jan with a trip to Germany so Charlie could have PRK eye surgery. We figured we might as well make it a family trip because he needed someone to take care of him while he recovered after surgery- and oh yea- he couldn’t see to drive- that was a biggie. We arrived the day before his surgery and decided to go exploring. We thought we would hop on over to France as it was only an hr drive or so from where we were staying (for those of you who know me- It was really just so I could get a France coffee cup for my collection). This first set of pictures are of a German town that we had to pass thru on the road to France. We saw the church and had to stop and take pictures - I don’t even know the name of the town or the church. Check out the rest of the photos by clicking on the “photos” tab above.

Travis’ solo performance

October 29th, 2008

Travis was asked to play for a reception located in a hotel in Rota last weekend- the grand piano that he was supposed to play fell through, so he ended up taking his keyboard at the last minute. He had a wonderful time!
